A blue and white brushpot, Bitong, early Kangxi
decorated with courtly scenes within pavilions depicting a guest being greeted by an official, attended by ladies bearing food and holding fans, the reverse with swirling clouds, all between geometric and rockwork bands to the foot and rim, raised on a chanelled foot -- 6¾in. (17.2cm.) diam.
