An ivory ruyi sceptre, 19th/20th Century
of typical elongated form, its head section with an inset raised plaque carved and pierced with two confronting dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls, the shaft with two further panels carved and pierced with bats, the panels separated by carved lotus flower heads and leaves - 12 5/8in. (32.1cm.) long.
