A large underglaze blue and copper red hu shaped vase, 19th century
the compressed globular body with twin one-horned mythical beast head handles painted with a wide band of winged and scaly mythical beasts on a foaming wave ground with scattered ruyi shaped clouds, all between lappet and ruyi borders -- 18½in. (47cm.) high.
