The first with flushfitting lid in the form of a biwa, the reddish brown ground with two hangetsu holes, the interior nashiji, silver strings; the second with flushfitting lid modelled as a koto, with mokume ground, decorated in gold hiramaki-e and nashiji, the interior nashiji, some old wear, the base with slight dents
