A wavy oval migakiji tsuba with a large ryohitsu, dragon roundels and spray-dots in gilt nunomezogan, signed Goto Seijo and kao; an oval sentoku tsuba decorated with a dragon in shishiaibori, slight detail, signed Hirado Kunishige, late 18th Century

Although iron was strictly forbidden to the Goto main line workers, the Seijo branch line used it quite openly. Even the 19th Century master and individualist Ichijo sometimes used secret names such as Totsuo Sanjin and Hakuo when signing on iron.
