The leather helmet in the form of a thirty two plate suji bachi kabuto [helmet with a ridged bowl], black laquered with a five lame ko manju jikoro [neckguard], mayedate [fore crest] of gilded wood, the leather covered fukigaeshi with a gilt zeni mon [crest], black lacquered leather menpo [mask] with hair moustache, leather okegawa yokohgi do [constructed of solid horizontal plates] and kusazur [tassets] each separately leather covered, tsubo sode [shoulder guards curved and tapering towards the bottom] similarly covered, black lacquered iron shino gote [sleeves], iron kawara haidate [thigh guards] and iron shino suneate [shin guards], laced overall in blue sugake odoshi [spaced lacing], old wear
