The blade honzukuri, iori-mune, deep koshizori with chu-kissaki, forging pattern itame hada with ji-nie, tempered edge wide midare of nie with sunagashi and kinsuji, hakikkake boshi, o-suriage nakago, 69.9cm., in its itomaki tachi mounting with a nashiji lacquer saya, matching shakudo mikakiji tachi mounts and aoi tsuba with o-seppa, all carved in kebori with karakusa, the edges gilt, the fuchi signed Hakurioken Terumasa and kao, gilt dragon and ken menuki, 20th century
