Signed Hizen Kuni ju omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro, Edo Period (17th Century)
The blade honzukuri, iori-mune, toriizori with extended chu-kissaki and bo-hi both sides, forging pattern itame hada with ji-nie, tempered edge suguha of ko-nie with a wide habuchi, kinsuji and some sunagashi, ubu nakago, 69.7cm., in shirasaya with a sayagaki by Fukunaga Suiken dated 1988, attributing the blade as Tadahiro's work of the Kanbun period
