Unsigned, attributed to Shikkake, Nanbokucho Period (14th Century)
Sugata [configuration]: naginata zukuri, iorimune
Kitae [forging pattern]: itame with jinie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: ko-gunome with ko-midare, ashi, yo, small tobiyaki, nijuba, kinsuji, sunagashi
Boshi [tip]: komaru with short return
Horimono [carvings]: naginata-hi on both sides
Nakago [tang]: slight suriage, kiri end, file marks katte-sagari, three holes
In shirasaya [plain wood scabbard]
Koshirae [set of mounts] comprising: a black lacquer scabbard with wisteria crests in gold hiramaki-e
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 61.1cm.
Sori [curvature]: 2.3cm.
Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 3cm.
