In 1984 Nolan's 'Birds' (fifteen paintings) were exhibited at the Windsor Community Arts Centre, Windsor, Berkshire (UK). Gordon House and Christopher Barrett collaborated in designing the graphics for the catalogue, invitation card and poster for the exhibition. The catalogue cover and invitation featured the original painting for the present colour prints
