Bold foliate-scroll engraved brass frame (originally silvered), the sides of the frame stamped with the Sharp's trade-marks, ivory grip-scales, silvered sighted slide-forward barrel with release stud, the hammer with rotating striker
2½in. barrel, circa 1859-74
