Circa 1770
Carved in relief, celebrating the vintage harvest festival and Autumn Season with the wine deity bacchus and his panther reclined beneath a vine-wreathed tree beside an altar-pedestal dressed with ewer and basket
10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) high, 23 7/8 in. (60.5 cm.) wide, 2¾ in. (7 cm.) deep

A related tablet, with bacchus holding a thyrsus instead of a ewer, embellished the library chimneypiece of Newton Park House, Co. Dublin (Christie's sale on the premises Newton Park House, 20 September 1976 lot 159).
