Meiji period (circa 1900), wire mark of Ando workshop
The small baluster vase decorated with polychrome enamels and gilt wire with lappets containing dragons and phoenixes on a chocolate-brown ground, the shoulder designed with cross-shaped panels of blossoms on a band of flowering vines banded by lozenges of plum blossoms, neck and foot with flowering vines
