Two Ivory Netsuke and an Ivory Ojime**
Edo-Meiji period (19th century), the second signed Yoshiyuki
The first netsuke carved as a a frog on a mandarin orange trapping a dragonfly under his front feet, the surface of the fruit stippled and highlighted in dark stain; the ojime carved with the animals of the zodiac in high relief; the other netsuke carved as a clam shell with two smaller shells attached to its surface, the interior carved with a tiny landscape
