Of oval section designed with man and a young boy blowing bubbles, the reverse with portable stand holding implements for the game decorated in aogai and gold foil against a roiro-nuri background, some of the bubbles and the trees in gold and silver lacquer, the child's robes decorated in nashiji, aogai and gold hiramaki-e, the interiors nashiji; fitted with a coral bead ojime and a hako netsuke formed as a drum decorated in low-relief gold lacquer with a lion's face with aogai eyes on the drum head and with aogai and gold and black-lacquer lattice patterns on the sides, signed Kansai
