A Single-Case Lacquer Inro**
Meiji period (19th century), signed Hosetsu and sealed Wago
The slender inro decorated with tuberous water plants in gold, silver and brown togidashi on a roiro-nuri ground with sparse hirame, the interior fitted with three slender bottles lacquered gold, silver and red, each with a gold lacquer stopper, the interior risers fundame; fitted with a cylindrical bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as gingko nuts and leaves, inscribed Okatomo
