The hexagonal vase painted with colored enamels and gilt over a clear, crackled glaze with rectangular panels of monkeys in bamboo, landscapes, birds in autumn maples, beauties and young men in procession, and farmers harvesting and threshing rice; the shoulder painted with numerous chrysanthemums and butterflies; the cover with beauties practicing flower arranging and the tea ceremony, the edge with chrysanthemums and keyfrets
