A Reverse-Painted Oxhorn-Applied Wood Accessory Box**
Choson period (19th century)
Rectangular with shallow cover and set on four demilune feet, applied with thin rectangular panels of oxhorn painted on the versos in green, white, black and coral on red grounds with felicitous and longevity symbols including phoenixes, tigers, deer, tortoises, fish, boars, geese, clouds, pines, sacred fungus and foliage, the box rims painted red and the interior lined with purple paper, base painted black
