Lot Essay

Ulriksdal, built c.1640, was, for many years, used mainly as a summer Palace. It's fortunes changed in 1923 when Crown Prince Gustav IV Adolf married Louise Mountbatten and took Ulriksdal as their home, embarking on a refurbishment that returned the Palace to it's former glory.
