The long handle carved in relief from one piece with the 'Three Friends', pine, bamboo and prunus, the flanged top surmounted by a bud, natural hair brush, 36.2 cm. long; and a bamboo armrest, finely carved with three scholars admiring a painting scroll in a high cliffed bamboo and pine landscape, 24.4 cm. long (2)
