A Chinese yellow ground famille rose bowl, 19th century
painted to the exterior with four roundels enlosing auspicious characters surrounded by bats and ruyi heads, all on an iron red and lemon yellow key fret ground, the interior with gourd amongst trailing vine -- 51.8in. (13.1cm.) diam.
