The moulded upper case with trefoil sound frets above glazed side panels, the brass dial with foliate spandrels to Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the scroll engraved centre with mock pendulum aperture and signed Joseph Graff/Prag No.306, the arch with later portrait roundel flanked by rings for repeat/not repeat and strike/silent, each with blued centre, the short-duration three train movement with two barrels and single gut fusee, with verge escapement, hours and quarters on two bells, trip repeat, with repeat signature to back plate with engraved border; key
