The hood with panelled sides and stop-fluted columns, the trunk with stop-fluted pilasters and the plinth now with tapering sides and on later double foot, the 12 in. brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with recessed silvered seconds disc and date aperture, the arch with strike/silent ring, the eight day movement with five pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike/trip repeat on bell; pendulum
