The chevron-veneered case with broken arch pediment and ebony and boxwood stringing, thumb-nail mouldings, moulded circular cistern cover with later geometric inlays, exposed tube, with glazed door to silvered plate signed JOS.H CROSA CORNHILL/BAMBURY, with mercury thermometer and sliding vernier scale
