The rounded sides carved in crisp low relief with a taotie band divided by notched flanges, with a pair of broad upright scroll handles and raised on a shallow pedestal foot encircled by a rope-twist border, the domed cover with similar notched flanges separating pierced panels of lotus scroll below an everted knop carved with petals, all with incised key-fret borders at the rims, the pale greyish-green stone with some opaque white and pale brown mottling
