The sides carved in low relief with an archaistic band of taotie masks and birds below the canted shoulder from which project two winged dragon-head handles suspending loose rings, raised on a low ring foot, the domed cover with a similar taotie band below a pierced band of ruyi-head panels and a hollowed knop with everted rim carved as petals, the stone of even white tone with some added russet color
