A SMALL 'CHICKEN BONE' JADE VASE

Probably made to hold incense tools, the ovoid body raised on a ring foot and carved with a broad band of ten lozenge-shaped vertical lobes framed at top and bottom by pendent and upright conjoined fern-like leaves, with a row of similar leaves pendent below the lipped rim, the semi-opaque stone of finely mottled greyish-white color with black coloring at the rim and added black color on the body
