Compare the Jiaqing reign-marked dish included in the exhibition Chinese Painted Enamels in the 18th Century, The Chinese Porcelain Company, New York, 23 October - 6 November 1993, no. 13, which is painted with similar foliate decoration, as well as the bajixiang, surrounding a central shou medallion painted in the same red and blue of the shuang xi medallion on the present box.
