The sides flaring widely from a small, shallow ring foot, the interior crisply molded with a small central flower head below a broad band of foliate scroll bearing three large blossoms and a narrow key-fret border, all under a glaze of ivory tone falling in pale olive tears on the exterior below the unglazed rim

Compare three Dingyao conical bowls molded in the interior with a similar foliate scroll below a key-fret border, in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, C. T.
