QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The tapering body carved with pairs of confronted archaistic dragons below a key-fret band and four bats in flight amidst clouds on the canted shoulder, the cylindrical neck carved with an elegant ruyi collar and applied with two narrow tubular handles, covered overall with a glaze of pale sea-green tone thinning to a paler tone on the raised areas

A very similar Qianlong-marked vase was sold at Sotheby's, London, 13 December 1988, lot 223.
