Compare the cinnabar-red-overlay pale brown glass bottle attributed to the Yangzhou School and carved with similar billowing clouds around the shoulders illustrated by R. Kleiner, Chinese Snuff Bottles in the Collection of Mary and George Bloch, London, 1995, p. 275, no. 182. See, also, the Yangzhou seven-color-overlay glass bottle from the Rachelle R. Holden Collection sold in these rooms, 21 March 2000, lot 114.
