POSSIBLY IMPERIAL, 1770-1860
Of high-shouldered tapering form, decorated on one side with a five-clawed dragon writhing amidst scrolling clouds, the reverse with a descending phoenix amidst trailing clouds, the concave shoulders and narrow sides with a foliate scroll set against a yellow ground, the base with Qianlong incised four-character mark in clerical script, the original stopper decorated en suite
2 3/16 in. (5.6 cm.) high
