A Coalport twin-handled vase and cover
oviform, with domed cover and foliate finial, set on a square-section base, painted with a panel of putti dressing one another in garlands in a wooded landscape and to the reverse with a bouquet of flowers within gilt-scroll borders reserved on a turquoise-ground, the scrolling handles to the shoulders with grotesque mask terminals, elseshere enriched in gilt, gilt CBD marks -- 21¼in. (54cm.) high, circa 1851-61 (wear, hairline cracks and possible repair to base)
