The central figure of Tara seated in dhyanasana over a double-lotus base, her right hand extended in varada mudra and her left holding a lotus stalk, the figure of Padmapani seated to her left in lalitasana, both figures wearing patterned dhotis inlaid with squares of copper and silver, supported on a central lotus stalk flanked by two nagas with male and female faces, rising from a stepped two-tier openwork base with beaded edges, the base with a diminutive attendant figure in adoration
