This figure is identified by the characters Zhihuiding Pusa inscribed on the edge of the lotus base (Jnanaketu in Sanskrit). The reverse of the base has a further four-character inscription which reads yujia genben, 'central to the study of yoga tantra'.
A similar figure from the Gogong, Beijing, bearing the same inscription, is illustrated in W.E. Clark, Two Lamaistic Pantheons, 1965, p. 146.
