Finely cast seated in dhyanasana on a raised double-lotus base with his right hand in bhumisparsamudra, wearing a tightly fitted sanghati with finely incised floral scroll border, the lower rim of the base inscribed in cartouches, base sealed, richly gilt overall

Lot Essay
The base is inscribed 'Homage to [Buddha] Shakyamuni!' with the mantra Om mani padme hung repeated five times.
