The rectangular panel carved in recess with Buddha Shakyamuni seated on an elaborate throne at the center, flanked by two Buddhas in trefoil aureoles surrounded by foliate scrolls, surrounded by a beaded frame with stylized flame border and a lotus petal frieze, one side carved and gilt with a Buddha between two makaras and inscribed with the Tibetan letter ka
