This drawing is reminiscent of a series of graphic works titled Passage into Human Space executed by M.F. Husain in the late 1970s. Basing the works on simple geometric forms, Husain traces human movement and evolution through the cycle of life using disparate images of a female tiger, a pregnant woman, and a meditating figure pared down to a tantric symbol.
