Pegau
Long a source of excellent grapes, Pegau began wholesale domain bottling of his own wine with the 1979 vintage. The flavor profile of Paul Feraud's wines are similar to his childhood friend Henri Bonneau albeit less voluminous. The Capo cuvée, though, does render the Pegau experience another dimension. At several blind tastings that I have attended in New York and Philadelphia of 1990 Chateauneufs, the cuvée reserve has been at or near the top of the heap and the more recent vintages only promise to be better.
