"A vintage tailor-made for Gruaud. Five notes, from opaque, packed with fruit in November 1990 to a softer, more mature, ripe-nosed, fleshy mouthful eight years later and, more recently, though with a rich, now mature appearance and ripe, spicy bouquet, it had surprising grip and tannin.
