"Medium, mauve rim; delightful, fragrant, lovely in the long-poured glass but hard, spicy, comparatively unyealding when freshly poured. Sweet, soft entry, crisp, very spicy, oaky flavour, finish and aftertaste. Feb 2001 (****). Very good but will not have the extra facets and long life of the five senior DRC's. Say 2006-2012.
