Engraved illustration on title and at head of dedication, 29 hand-coloured engraved plates of grasses only (?of 40). 19th-century half calf (crudely rebacked, corners rubbed, some scuffing). Provenance: 19th-century manuscript index leaf loosely-inserted; "Bolten" (stamp on first title); partially erased ownership inscription on front free endpaper. A third volume was published in 1810 containing 54 plates. Nissen BBI 1807. Sold as a collection of plates, not subject to return.
