A SUPERB GEM-SET ARCHERS RING
Mughal, India, mid 17th century
The exceptionally fine ring composed of white jade, decorated with delicately carved rubies, emeralds and a central table-cut diamond set in shallow cavities of floral motifs joined and bordered by gold in a branch pattern.
With report from American Gemological Laboratories,certificate number CS24100 dated 23 February 1989 stating that the ring is made of jade, nephrite, natural colour.
With report from American Gemological Laboratories,certificate number CS24101 dated 23 February 1989 stating that 10 melon shaped rubies are natural Burmese.
With report from American Gemological Laboratories, certificate number CS24102 dated 23 February 1989 stating that the 17 leaf shaped emeralds are natural.
With report from American Gemological Laboratories, certificate number B91037 dated 23 February 1989 stating that the flat tablet diamond is G colour, VS clarity.
