A one-page autograph letter of thirteen lines, signed, from Strathfieldsaye, December 10th 1839, to a member of the House of Lords in his capacity as Party Leader, requiring his attendance in Parliament: "for the dispatch of business on Thursday the 16 of January ... the State of the Country has rendered necessary the assembly of Parliament at so early a period and it is desirable that the House of Lords should be fully attended" (creased on folds), framed and glazed.
