Lot Essay

Casciaro was a student of Palizzi, Morelli and G. Toma at the Accademmia of Naples where he obtained many awards, especially for his works in pastel. He gained a bronze medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900. The museum of Munich conserves some of his work.
