The shaped top inlaid with a foliate medallion centred by two birds on a branch, surrounded by scrolling foliate branches flanked to the angles by further medallions of birds, within a gilt acanthus rim, above a similarly decorated frieze fronted by two drawers, on scroll legs each headed by the bust of a putto and floral garlands, joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher centred by a flower-filled urn, on scrolling sabots
