Cast by Victor Paillard after models by Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, Third quarter 19th Century
Comprising a mantel clock and pair of six-light candelabra: the clock with cloudborne female figure seated on a globe dial inscribed to the front VORPAILLARD/FTDE BRONZES/PARIS, the movement also inscribed V. PAILLARD/PARIS to the reverse, a flying putto to her side, on a shaped white marble base with ribbon-tied patera to the front, on toupie feet; the candelabra en suite, each signed A. CARRIER to the base
