Third quarter 19th Century
Of architectural out-shape, the pediment with a strapwork cartouche and mythological scene, the painted centre depicting scantily-clad female figures, signed indistinctly to the lower left, flanked to each side by a female caryatid holding a fruit-filled basket, the reverse with a figure of Diana and inscription HEUREUX LE JOUR L'AN LE MOIS & LA PLACE L'HEURE & LE TEMPS OU VOS YEUX M'ONT TUE SINON TUE A TOUT LE MOINS MUE COMME MEDUSE EN UNE FROIDE GLACE
