[VIEWBOOKS]. A collection of 13 works, mostly viewbooks of the San Francisco Panama Pacific International Exposition, including Views of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in Natural Colors. San Francisco, 1915.
The oblong viewbook is ineluctably associated with World's Fairs and their official publications, as well as with the rise of tourism and local promotion. With mounted photographic reproductions, or majestic color illustrations, they provided a grand, though inexpensive, souvenir.
