From the age of 16, she worked in her mother's factory and together, they expanded their business throughout Indonesia, offering a range of more than 120 herbal products, efficacious for both curing and prevention of diseases. She married into the well-known Oei Tiong Ham family, but continued to run her business with the help of her brothers and sisters. Carolyn and her mother shared deep passion for art, antiquities and gemstones as the next four lots being reminders of their large and splendid collection.
